  • Would you like to learn more about the role of an effective facilitator?

In this webinar, we will look at facilitation, why facilitation skills are important in research and teaching, how they might be used and to help you develop a plan for your own development as a facilitator. The session will begin with an introduction to facilitation, what it is and what it is not and the underlying skills involved in being an effective facilitator. We will also review some of the underlying pedagogy of facilitation, specifically in reference to University teaching and end with discussion on the type of roles where facilitation skills are used and how you might implement and develop facilitation skills in your own working area

This webinar provides essential preparation for our further workshops on facilitation.

This webinar is open to all and also contributes to the programme of workshops available for those applying for the Development Tutor Scheme.

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains B3, D1, D2 and D3..
