Why take part in Public Engagement?

This is a panel-based webinar. Those who have currently agreed to take part include:

Dr Paul Sapple, Public Engagement with Research Manager

Laura Winters and Rebecca Glennon-Alty, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences

Dr Aimee Blackledge and Dr Shirley Cooper, LDC Development Team.

These representatives will outline the advantages and opportunities for joining public engagement activities associated with your research. The Panel will address the specific questions such as why Public Engagement is important for research funding, the benefits that postgraduate researchers will gain from involvement in Public Engagement activities and the types of activities on offer across the University. We will also introduce upcoming schemes for postgraduate researchers to gain their own funding for public engagement activities and outline how you can get involved

There will be opportunities for questions from the audience and for you to share your own experiences.

Registration: You are recommended to use your university of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
