Attending academic conferences is a crucial part of many, if not most, PhD journeys.
Conferences are a brilliant experience, not only to learn more about the latest research in a specific subject area or on a specific topic, but also because they allow PhD students to present their ongoing research, receive feedback on their work, and meet fellow researchers in their area.

Whether presenting, or simply attending as a member of the audience, it is possible to make a memorable and lasting impression at a conference and to form networks that could be helpful towards your PhD and academic journey.

This webinar will discuss practical tips for attending academic conferences, covering what to do before, during and after the conference in order to fully prepare and make the most out of conference attendance.

Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
