As an HR Consultant, when you support organisations you are likely to need a wide range of skills and tools to address any situation your clients might present to you. Conflict between employees is almost inevitably one of the situations that you will be encountering. Having a mediation option in your toolkit alongside the formal process options means you can offer more comprehensive support. For complex issues you can of course bring in a professional mediator. But you won't want to do that for every issue, especially when they are relatively low level.

The answer is to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to ‘do-it-yourself’. You don't have to have full mediation training but you do need to know the essentials. This webinar will introduce you to DIY Mediation which provides you with a mediation toolkit - the core skills, process and support tools to enable you to resolve low level workplace conflict.

In this free webinar Marc Reid will introduce you to the DIY Mediation approach that he has trained to line and HR for several years and which is the subject of his book 'DIY Mediation. The Conflict Resolution Toolkit for HR'. The webinar will include video demonstration of DIY Mediation in practice and will show extracts from the DIY Mediation Online Learning Series. The Online Learning is one of the ways you can learn DIY Mediation and is a series of 20 short videos ideal for bite-sized learning, plus a range of online support tools.

This webinar is ideally suited to HR consultants who are keen to add to their skillset and learn valuable skills to nip conflict in the bud using a mediation style technique and process.
