INTRODUCTION

Mixed mode ventilation strategies combine natural ventilation with mechanical ventilation and/or cooling in the most effective manner. A mixed mode strategy requires the robust integration of building fabric, services and controls, with features that add functionality without adding complication. Its systems must be efficient and economic, usable and understandable.

Join our expert panel on-line to discuss the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of mixed mode ventilation strategies. The panel will be chaired by Professor Malcolm Cook.
