Our panel:

1. Bill Cogan - Corporate Lawyer & Founder

Bill is a dual qualified lawyer as a Solicitor of England & Wales and Attorney-at-law of the State of New York. He practices legal and strategic advisory to high growth ventures, with over 10 years of experience at RBS, PetroSaudi and Ignition Law. Recently, Bill founded Seven Legal, a law firm working alongside founding teams on their journeys through funding, scaling and exiting.

2. Vicki Field - HR Consultant & CIPD Fellow

Vicki is an achievement-focused HR leader with experience of working in a start-up environment as well as within FTSE 100 companies. She specialises in establishing HR functions in startups, particularly ones with PE funding. Vicki has worked for blue-chip companies including Vodafone, Accenture and PruHealth, focusing on establishing HR strategy, resourcing, recruitment, employee relations and employment law.

3. Adam Chick - Tax Advisor

Adam has a particular focus on early stage corporates looking to raise funds through the Enterprise Investment (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS). He works closely with Buzzacott’s Corporate Finance team on advising qualifying fund raises as well as the Private Client team in giving EIS/SEIS advice for individuals. Adam spent six years at HMRC where he was a technical lead analysing tax planning structures and working on the most complex EIS cases.
