Description

WEBINAR: SEN/D Music Training and PGCE Students

As part of our think2020 Community of Learning we are hosting a series of webinars to support the music education sector.

Our next event will take place on 10th May, 7.30 - 8.30pm and we invite you to take part.

Dr Marina Gall, PGCE Music course co-ordinator at Bristol University, will be hosting this webinar with Drake Music Education Manager, Jonathan Westrup.

Topic

The topic is impact of SEN/D music training on PGCE music students, and especially how it can help them on their school placements and beyond.

Marina will discuss the chapter she's just written about the impact of Drake Music's partnership with Bristol University over the past six years.

Jonathan will take a look at wider music education issues, which will support PGCE students to understand the music education sector, specifically in reference to SEN/D settings.

The event will be a great opportunity for PGCE students to ask questions and can contribute to their portfolio of evidence towards their standards.

It will be an interactive session and we look forward to lots of questions.

Who is it for?

This webinar is specifically designed for PGCE Music students and their 'support networks' i.e. their school mentors, university tutors, TAs etc.

How can I take part?

Please register above (top right hand corner of the page) for the webinar and share with others you think could benefit from attending.
