Event description

Description

If you are looking to deliver end-point assessment in future (or prepare apprentices for it), you will need to get to grips with the key ways in which assessment practice is changing.

Do you understand grading and how you arrive at a grading decision? How do you assess behaviours? How do you ensure your assessments are fair, robust and consistent?

This in-depth webinar series will take you through four vital areas of end-point assessment practice. Each webinar will give you a good grounding in the theory, but also provide you with practical advice, actions and tools to help you deliver end-point assessments in practice (or prepare your apprentices for it).

1. Working with grading – Mon, 12th Feb (12.30-1.30pm)

2. Ensuring fairness, robustness and consistency – Mon, 19th Feb (12.30-1.30pm)

3. Gathering evidence and giving feedback – Tues, 20th March (12.30-1.30pm)

4. Working with behaviours – Tues, 27th March (12.30-1.30pm)

You can book onto individual webinars for £49 (+VAT), or book onto the whole series for just £150 (+VAT). This includes the live webinars (with Q&A), and supporting tools / resources.

Who are these webinars for?

The webinar series has been designed for individuals planning to deliver (or already delivering) end-point assessments. It will also be helpful for trainer-assessors preparing apprentices on-programme for the end-point assessment.

Facilitators and speakers

The webinar series will be facilitated by Chris Cherry, an SDN expert in apprenticeship on-programme training and end-point assessment. Chris has been heavily involved in the development of new standards and assessment plans, as well as supporting many EPAOs and hundreds of individuals to understand and prepare to deliver end-point assessment. Chris holds a Masters in assessment theory and is well published in this area.

Why an SDN webinar series?

SDN are leading experts in the apprenticeship reforms - we've helped to set up some of the first EPAOs now offering end-point assessment, and we're the first registered centre in the UK approved to deliver the Level 3 End-Point Assessment qualification. We’ve supported over 3,000 apprenticeship staff, from 900 organisations, to help prepare to deliver apprenticeship standards and understand end-point assessment. We’ve also worked closely with over 70 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required. SDN also authored the Future Apprenticeships toolkit.

Payment

Where it is not possible for your organisation to pay for the full webinar series using a credit card, we are happy to accept invoices. Please click here to complete our invoice booking form. We are unable to accept invoice bookings for individual webinars (only via credit card online).
