About this event

The PET-CT Academy experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the theragnostic principles applied in the management of neuroendocrine tumours with various case studies presented throughout this hour webinar.


  • A Rationale of the Theragnostic/PRRT approach to NET - presented by Dr Thomas Westwood.
  • Dosimetry in NET PRRT - Addressing the need for evidence to alter patient management - presented by Dr Jill Tipping.
  • Carcinoid crisis during PRRT - Covering patients at risk, how to manage them and how to prevent issues - presented by Mary Gbongay.
  • Multimodal Intervention & PRRT Case Examples - presented by Dr Ami Chander.
  • Summary, Discussion and Q&A - Chaired by Dr Prakash Manoharan with all speakers in attendance.

Learning Outcomes

  • A greater understanding of the rationale for PRRT and patient selection.
  • Current role of dosimetry in PRRT.
  • Managing high-risk NET patients and dealing with a ‘carcinoid crisis’ during PRRT. Cases to exemplify the utility of therapeutic interventions in NET patients including PRRT.

Intended Audience

All PET-CT Radiologists, Technologists and Radiographers, plus any other clinical staff who might have an interest in the theragnostic principles in managing NET tumours.


This webinar does not constitute the practical training required to undertake any procedures highlighted in the presentation.

Requirements for Accessing the Webinar

A desktop computer, laptop or tablet with working speakers. Participants can use mobile phones, however, this will reduce viewability and may limit the level of functionality in using the Q&A and chat features.
