The PhD offers many opportunities to achieve your own ambitions and yourself personally and professionally. However, you may also have been told of the many challenges and obstacles in this process. So what can you do to help make the progress to completion easier?

This discussion-based webinar will focus on the problems faced by researchers of all disciplines, from coping with problems obtaining support, finding where to get essential information and exploring ways to build an effective support network that will help you through this long term project.

Combining the group discussions with the various University resources, we aim to provide a 'toolkit' to surviving the PhD.
This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains B1 and B2.

Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
