Kim Palmer, CEO and founder of Clementine

Kim Palmer is the CEO and founder of the hypnotherapy app Clementine, which aims to improve the emotional wellbeing of women all over the world. Born after Kim experienced a number of panic attacks whilst pregnant, Clementine has been created to make women feel calmer, more confident, and better equipped to cope with everyday life. The hypnotherapy sessions available on the Clementine app can be used to boost confidence or help you return to sleep by guiding you to a relaxed state, similar to daydreaming, and suggests new ways to deal with everyday grievances; allowing you to kick back and continue your daily routine. Kim is listed as one of the top 100 women in Fem Tech & Health Tech and winner of the IPA Campaign Women of Tomorrow in 2018, which recognises female industry leaders of the future. While working at Wunderman Thompson as a strategy director, Kim also helped some of the world’s biggest brands with their global marketing campaigns and was able to develop her personal resilience and kick-start a women’s mentoring programme.

Rebecca Alvarez Story, Co-founder of Bloomi

Rebecca Alvarez Story is a nationally respected Sexologist and social impact entrepreneur. She works with womxn, couples and teens to help them navigate a variety of sexual wellness topics and find holistic ways to maximize their sexual agency. She has been named a “Latina Trailblazer” by Forbes for normalizing conversations about sexual wellness. She is a proud daughter of Latinx immigrants and also focuses on diversity initiatives that empower other womxn of color. Rebecca graduated from UC Berkeley with a major she created, Women's Health & Sexuality, and holds a Master's in Sexuality Studies where she studied Female Desire and Arousal. In 2018, Rebecca founded Bloomi, the first online multi-brand marketplace for intimacy that is revolutionizing the sexual wellness category. Bloomi expertly curates clean and modern products for womxn while also acting as an educational resource for all things intimacy. Adding to this innovation, Bloomi created the first “Clean Standard” in the industry which promotes ingredient transparency.

Camilla Hansson, founder of Camilla Organics

Camilla Hansson is the founder of Camilla Organics, a company that provides premium CBD products made for women. Camilla started the company after suffering from debilitating menstrual cramps and found that CBD was the only thing that gave her relief. She felt compelled to educate other women about CBD and how it can help their health and wellbeing. Before starting Camilla Organics, Camilla spent years working as an international model and won the Miss Sweden competition in 2014. Camilla is passionate about health and wellness and has studied nutrition and natural medicine at CNM London.

Dr. Olivia Ahn, co-founder and CEO of Planera

Dr. Olivia Ahn is the CEO of Planera. Olivia founded Planera with Aaron during her penultimate year at Imperial College London. Her medical background has been a valuable insight into the daily struggles and the real health impacts of poor sanitary education and products from young girls to older women. Her active engagement with the Planera community ensures the audience leads Planera's product and service developments.

Dr. Brittany Barreto, Executive Director and Co-Founder FemTech Focus

Dr. Brittany Barreto is an unconventional serial entrepreneur that proves that anything is possible with hard work and heart. While finishing her Ph.D. in genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, Brittany became the CEO and Co-Founder of the revolutionary dating app Pheramor. The ambitious venture was the first nationwide DNA-based dating app to hit the market, reaching an eager audience that resulted in 50% growth, month over month. Brittany was also successful in fundraising $1.3 million for her startup, her founder’s journey took a pivot three years later when she embarked on a new path as the Senior Venture Associate at Capital Factory, a notable innovation player in Texas. Under her leadership, the Houston accelerator portfolio grew by an impressive 205%. It was also during this time that Brittany realized that Houston needed more former-founder mentors like herself to help usher in the next generation of Femtech startups. Dr. Brittany Barreto now has her sights on advancing the Femtech community through her latest world-changing venture - FemTech Focus.
