Event description

Presenters: Dr Shirley Cooper, LDC Development Team

Continuing your PhD work in isolation in the current period due to Covid-19 can be challenging. You may be having problems maintaining a focus or are missing the frequent social interaction that supports your motivation. In this discussion-based webinar we will review some of the essential tools in time-management to assess what is most important to progress with PhD in this difficult period.

In the process we will review some common approaches including:

- making effective to-do lists,
- prioritization tasks
- managing procrastination
- and use of online software.

This webinar is based on a previously delivered webinar, 'Time-management for PhD researchers', but has been adapted to fit the current situation with Covid-19 to allow greater time for discussions, to share your problems and your own best practice and to use community support as a way to improve our motivation

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains B1 and B2.

Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove registrations of attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
