Overview

This session will introduce proven approaches that help you to create successful, client-focused bids.

Writing Bids that are Designed to Succeed: Many organisations view bids as an opportunity to provide prospective clients with information on their products, services, or solutions. But we must also interpret that information if we are to meet challenging word/page limits, win marks in accordance with the mark scheme (for public sector bids or funding) and prove that our offer is timely and relevant (and better than what is offered by the competition). Interpretation allows us to reframe available information and tailor standard offerings to demonstrate compliance with the customer’s specification, understanding of their needs, the suitability of our offer for their unique operational environment, and support for their desired outcomes.

This session will introduce proven approaches that help you replace information with interpretation to create successful, client-focused bids. This is what we do at Yunex Traffic, the UK’s single largest traffic signal supply and maintenance company.
