Wednesday 3/5 Essay Writing in Exam Conditions, Seminar Room 2

This workshop will look at strategies for effective essay writing in exam conditions. It covers how to get started with your ideas, creating structure and working under time pressure. The only style of essay question covered is longer essays, where you will need to think through your ideas and produce a fairly long written response. Short answer and multiple choice technique will not be included.
It will delivered by Denise Douglas, one of the Faculty of Science Learning Support Tutors. Denise has taught English for Academic Purposes at Universities and Colleges for many years and this workshop is based on extensive experience of preparing students for a range of exams.
