BWH Parent Education Classes

UPDATE: MOST OF THE JUNE and JULY  2017 COURSES ARE NOW FULL

IF THE CLASS(ES) YOU WANT TO ATTEND ARE FULL, PLEASE EMAIL US at parenteducation@nhs.net TO BE PUT ON OUR WAITING LIST - WE NEED YOUR FULL NAME, ESTIMATED DUE DATE and BW HOSPITAL NUMBER.

WHEN A CLASS IS FULL, WE ARE SORRY BUT THERE IS NO EXTRA ROOM.

WE HAVE GOT LIMITED AVAILABILITY IN AUGUST AND STILL A GOOD AVAILABILITY IN SEPTEMBER 2017.

Scroll down to book your course on-line now.

If you have any problem or question when booking your antenatal class on our system, or if you have special requirements (e.g. mobility) simply email parenteducation@nhs.net or ring 0121 318 2377 and leave a message . Our office is not manned 24/7 but if you send an email or leave a voice mail, it will be picked up within 48 working hours.

In general, we have greater availability on the community courses due to the larger room size, whereas we are limited in the hospital and courses fill quickly. Community course cover the same topics as the hospital courses and you still do get a chance to do a tour of the delivery suite / birthing centre on a Sunday afternoon.

When a course is fully booked, we can not add up any extra participant but you can get onto our waiting list if you wish to.

If you have booked onto another antenatal course with a non-NHS organisation and would like to join one of our monthly hospital tours (tours can be cancelled at the last minute if there is no room availability), please email us directly parenteducation@nhs.net with the following information:
- The name of the provider of the antenatal course you are booked on
- Your estimated due date
-  Your full name and the Birmingham Women's Hospital Number
We will then get back to you with a date and time.
