Wednesday Sharing Time with The Storytelling Circle

Bring something to share and join us round our virtual campfire!

Professional storytellers and dramatherapists Brendan Lucia and George Fanzio will offer and hold an online space every two weeks on Wednesday Evenings dedicated to individual sharing, group reflection and shared experience.

Bring a story, scene, poem or piece of writing that means something to you - your own words or someone else's, ancient or new, high or low brow - all that matters is that these are words that hold value for you in this moment in time or that are helping you to create meaning in your current life situation. Each event has been given a name to provide both a container for the session and a seed of inspiration for the art that is brought and shared. This is an offer and not an imposition, feel free to use the name as a stimulus if you wish but bring work that feels right for you.

We ask that each sharing be no longer than 5 minutes in length, so that there is the time for each person to share and be heard. As the number of participants is limited to only 10 per session, it is warmly advised to book your ticket in advance - as opposed to waiting last minute - to guarantee your participation.

Expect a relaxed and informal atmosphere, an inclusive and non-judgemental environment and a chance to interact and share ideas with like minded strangers in a time when a sense of community and of human connection seems just a little harder to grasp.

Remember that sharing is not compulsory, if you would like to join us just to listen or to take part in reflection, know that this is a valid option too.

We ask, if possible, to try to be in a private space where you won’t be overheard- so that you can really relax and get involved in the sharing.

A zoom link will be sent out to all ticker holders at least an hour prior to the event.

PAYMENT:

We have set a donation option to reduce your ticket fee cost, feel free to adjust according to your income. If you can, please donate from a place of abundance. Please enter amount to purchase your ticket. Thank you in advance! Any tickets booked below the indicated donation amount will be refunded immediately. 1 ticket per transaction, please. Limited spaces & ticket availability.

No one turned away for lack of funds. Please opt for a 'well-waged' ticket if you can to help support this project.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We do not offer refunds if you cannot attend if less than 24h notice is provided. You are welcome to pass on your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member, however please let us know in advance. If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a full refund.

Please note that if there are less than 4 participants signed up an hour before the event we reserve the right to cancel the event. We will offer a full refund to all ticket holders should this happen.

GUIDELINES:

No late comers please. This is a shared journey from the beginning to the end and we aim to create a safe container for all participants.

1. Although our practitioners are trained and qualified in drama and movement therapy (DMT) and parts of the session can have therapeutic qualities, these sessions are not therapy. You will be responsible for your own physical and mental well being, therefore please make sure to look after yourself by participating at the level that feels appropriate to you on the day.

2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment.

3. No recordings of the session, Mobile phones muted and out of sight.

4. Care/Awareness for the co-created space and each other.

5. Even though you are encouraged to have your video on at all times, we allow for participants to join without a camera. Please let us know at the beginning of the session.

6. We try to keep our space as inclusive, non-judgemental and affirming as possible. Please note that any misbehaviour will result in an immediate removal from the session with no refund.
