I absolutely love presenting this balanced and varied Yoga-Lattes class to my students because each week I get to see friendships form and I can watch how much stronger they get.

I start with a movement track often taking inspiration from Thai Chi. I then do a series of Yoga flows, Sun Salutations and Warrior Sequences to fully warm up and get into some good quality leg strengthening.

I then do what I like to call a 'Rotisserie' Pilates section where we do a workout on the sides, the anterior and the posterior of the core before finishing with twists, hip openers and Hamstrings. Most of the classes end with a deep relaxation if the hall can be quiet with no disruptions.

I also record these and send them to the subscribers so that they can do the class at home to boost their strength and cooordination.

Zumba Thornbury is run by Natasha Johnson and has been going since January 2011. Some of the classes are run by other equally fantastic teachers, who also teach you steps, teach you the words and host fabulous Zumba parties at each of their classes.

Natasha Johnson and Emma Cooper teach Zumba classes at various locations run  by Zumba Thornbury. The best thing about our little 'co-op' is that our Zumba members get a loyalty card when they start classes with us. Every time you pay for a class you get a loyalty stamp and once you have collected 6 stamps you get a class for free!
