The Oral instructions of Mahamudra

In this special retreat on the Oral Instructions of Mahamudra we will explore the profound and uncommon practices of the Ganden Oral Lineage as presented by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. We will specifically focus on the 5 stages of training in Mahamudra meditation as they are presented in this extraordinary text, with emphasis on memorisation and reciting mentally from the heart while concentrating on the meaning.

If it is possible by the time of this course for us to open the centre and meditation room to allow limited in-person attendance, we will notify you of this option via email.

Teacher

Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Thekchen, is a senior meditation teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. He has been a Buddhist monk and teacher for 20 years, having taught in many Centres in the UK and Canada. He presents Buddha’s teachings in a practical and often humorous way that enables the listener to easily understand the teachings and put them into practise.
