Event description

Description

Explore the science of car crashes with Dinos Visvikis in this Summer School workshop. Students will find out how car designers apply the laws of physics to help protect passengers, before working in groups to improve the design of a basic car. Whose will win in the competition for safest design?

Please note: This workshop is strictly for 10-12 year–olds. Parents should drop their children off, and collect them at the end of the workshop. There will be a short break during the workshop and a drink and a small snack will be provided. Students should bring their own snack if they have any allergies.

This workshop is based on an Ri Engineering Masterclass. Students who have attended a Masterclass series which included a session on a similar topic may have already seen some of the content in this workshop. Please contact us on events@ri.ac.uk with any questions.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least one week (seven calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
