Weekend Workshop: Photography - What is Portraiture?
Saturday 13 - Sunday 14 February 2016, 11.00 - 17.00
Photographer Teena Taylor, currently exhibiting in the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2015, investigates what makes a great portrait. Explore the dynamic between photographer and sitter, photographing both a model and other members of the group, through which you will experience the differences between the two roles. Working on location and in the studio, you will gain confidence in creating a rapport with your model whilst simultaneously developing your own individual vision.
Suitable for those who have some knowledge of digital photography and know how to use their cameras in manual mode.
