Weekly Muslim Women only Halaqa (circle)

Important information before the purpose of the event is given:

• Once you have attended at least once, i will send an email asking you to say yes if you still intend on attending consistently, if you respond yes, you will be added to the email list where you will receive weekly emails containing the Halaqa link (same every week). If you respond with no or do not respond at all, you will not be on the email list but you can always sign up again any time.

• I understand that you may not be able to attend always for a good reason so please let me know so i can send you the notes. If you ever decide you no longer want to attend, please let me know so i can remove you from the list. If I notice a sister has been missing for at least 3 weeks and she has not contacted me to explain why, I will automatically remove her from the list. However, if you are not able to attend for long periods but are still interested in attending the Halaqas, please do inform me of your situation and I can either send you the notes instead of you attending live or you can ask that you do not receive emails temporarily.
  

Acess Link to join Halaqas only available to Muslim Sisters who order Free ticket (s). This will be going on every week Insha Allah- the timing is subject to change due to prayer times but i want to make the timing work for all sisters and so if you end up on the email list you will find how I try to do this. I try to keep the times the same every week. Expect it to never start before 18:15 PM .

Link will be shared to those who order Free ticket (s) on the Day of the Halaqa (Saturday) Insha Allah for security. Ticket sales close 5 minutes before the Halaqa each week (but still try to order early it helps me to know if sisters are attending!)

Purpose

I Insha Allah want to create a safe and open learning and community space for Muslim Women where we can learn the Deen (religion), enjoining the good and forbidding the evil which is the quality Allah mentioned about this Muslim Ummah (community):

كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ ءَامَنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُم ۚ مِّنْهُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ ١١٠

3:110

You are the best community ever raised for humanity—you encourage good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. Some of them are faithful, but most are rebellious.



But for now, let's start a Journey of learning and I may make mistakes but we must correct each other and give each other sincere advice. The Deen is Naseeha (sincerity) as comes in a hadith (saying of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)


To ensure these weekly Halaqas become a place that is pleasing to Allah, I will end this event description by sharing some strict rules:

1. This groupchat community space is for Muslim women only, whether newly reverted or a Muslim seeking to return back to Allah. If you are in contact with a non-Muslim who is interested in Islam or who you want to give Dawah to, please get in contact with me and I can Insha Allah send you a template for this. Finally, it is specifically for Muslim women who adhere to the beliefs of Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah (the people of the Sunnah and the United group). Even if you do not label yourself as being part of Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah (the people of the Sunnah and the United group), you are very much welcome to the group if you fit the description, following the Qur'an and Sunnah with the understanding of the sahabah (companions).


2. No backbiting or slander will be permitted.

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah, صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم, said, “Do you know what backbiting is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said, “To mention your brother in a way he dislikes.” It was said, “What if it is true about him?” The Prophet said, “If what you say about him is true, it is backbiting. If it is not true, it is slander.”

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim

A Alim (scholar) Shaykh Al Uthaymeen (May Allah have mercy on him) said: “Speaking about the people of innovation and those who carry unsound concepts or a methodology which is not upright, (then) this is from advice, and not backbiting. Rather it is (an act of) sincerity to Allaah, His Book and His Messenger (by carrying out what is commanded and forbidding evil etc) and it is (act of sincerity) to the muslims (by giving them good advice).

...

And as long as we fear the spread of these innovations, or that concept or that methodology which is in opposition to the methodology of the Salaf; it is obligatory that we clarify so the people are not deceived by that.”
