Meet at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester Docks

This gripping show mixes dance, circus and live music. Two musicians play from a nearby floating stage, using voice, trumpet, guitar, synth, and samples of politicians’ empty promises about the climate crises.

Please book one time slot per person. Arrive 10 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are suitable for adults and children aged seven years old and above, providing an introduction to paddling in a safe and enjoyable manner. Explore our stunning waterways while learning about their history and encountering incredible wildlife along the way.

Parents and guardians must accompany their children on this paddle. If you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or contact us to allow others to participate. All Equipment will be provided.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to wear?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and which are suitable for the weather. We aim that everyone stays dry but bring a change of clothes just in case.

What should I bring?

We provide all equipment for the session but bring a bottle of water and any personal medication you need

Are there toilets?

yes there is an accessible toilet but during the performance there will be no opportunity for a toilet break.

What is the site like?

We have a step-free pontoon and EZ launch facility (see pictures above) at our pontoon in the Barge Arm in Orchard Square.

Do I need to be able to swim?

No, we aim that no one goes in the water. You will be supplied with a buoyancy aid or life jacket and our leaders are trained to help you if you fall in the water. If you are nervous about this please let us know and we can hep you to feel safe and comfortable.

Can I bring my dog?

No, our sessions are for people only.

How long will we be on the water for?

Approximately 1 hour. 45 minutes of this will be watching the performance. Please be aware timings are not exact and the session may be longer or shorter.

What craft can I try out?

We have a mixture of Canadian canoes , sit on top kayaks and stand up paddleboards on site. You may not be able to use your preferred choice depending on demand and group size and weather conditions.
