Do you feel trapped in a pattern of binge eating?

Perhaps you use food to soothe you when you are emotionally upset or stressed?

Are you filled with shame and self-loathing after you binge in secret?

This workshop will give you practical tools to help you break free of your stuck patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour around your eating.

Binge eating behaviour can make you feel intense feelings of shame and self-loathing for the way you eat and behave. Symptoms of binge eating include the ability to stop eating or control what you eating, regardless of how full you may be. You might feel numb while bingeing and never seem fully satisfied, no matter how much you eat. It can be difficult to battle the feelings of tension, embarrassment, guilt, disgust and depression that often accompany binge eating. Our workshop is designed to help tackle these problems so you can begin to manage your habits and take back control.

You will discover:


  • How balanced nutrition can take away your cravings
  • What triggers your binge eating
  • How to switch off your internal critic
  • Planning strategies to help you stay in control
  • How to deal with lapses
  • Ways to cope when you have strong desires to binge
  • How to soothe your emotions without food
  • How to build confidence and self-belief that you can stop binge eating


The head of WeightMatters, James Lamper will be your workshop leader for this event. James will share his tips, strategies and experiences so you can find a new healthy relationship with food and your body. The size of the group will be restricted to 10 people to allow space for intimacy and the opportunity to ask questions and get the answers you need.

There will be a 30-minute break from 12 noon-12:30 pm.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

WeightMatters is located at 21 Wigmore St, Marylebone London- Less than 10 minutes walk from Oxford Circus or Bond Street Station.


What can I bring into the event?

We advise you bring a notebook and pen for our psycho-educational exercises.

What's the refund policy?

Cancellations with more than one week (or 7 days) notice will be approved for a full refund. Cancellations that fail to give notice one week in advance will not be eligible for a refund and will be charged the workshop fee of £75.
