Welcome back to the University of Exeter, 2nd years!
[This event is restricted to students enrolled in the following programmes: Economics BSc, Business Economics BSc, Economics with Econometrics BSc, Economics and Finance BSc, Economics and Politics BSc, Politics, Philosophy and Economics BA, FCH with economics.]
Join us for a talk and Q&A with a panel composed of programme directors and high-achieving third-year students, entirely dedicated to provide tips and answer any questions you may have about the second year at University; help you understand what to expect from your 2nd year whether it is about the workload or the social life on campus, what your programme directors and your lecturers expect from you, and give you any tips they may have to help you succeed and prepare this next chapter of your life at university and beyond. Our third-year student speakers are high-achieving students with a wide range of backgrounds, some of whom have completed internships and/or year abroad, and who will be more than happy to share about their experiences. We hope you will also take advantage of this space to ask any question related to preparing for job and internship applications, and how to start thinking about your career after uni.
Spaces are limited and we encourage you to book. Entry to the event will be allowed on presentation of a valid eventbrite ticket. Should there be seats available once reserved seats have been filled, entry will be managed on a first-come first-serve basis.
The event will take place in Lecture Theatre A, Streatham Court, at 12.30pm on the 19th of September.
