Welcome Games Night/Jam

We celebrate the beginning of the new academic year with a short introduction to the activities and plans of the History and Games Lab, followed by games and playtests.

The event is free and open to students, staff, and alumni of the University of Edinburgh, and their guests.

Please register using the Eventbrite link because the space is limited.

You can come alone and join other players on the spot or come as a group and then pick one of the games from our library (which includes board games, role-playing games, and wargames).

Along with our tabletop games library, you can also paytest a scenario on medieval vampires (based on the medieval chronicle of William of Newburgh and archaeologival evidence) for the Call of Cthulhu role playing game that the H&GL is designing.
