Event Information
About this Event
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am looking forward to welcoming parishioners , visitors and friends to Holy Innocents' to celebrate Mass at at 6pm on Sat 6 February, or at 8.30am,11am or 6pm on Sunday, 7 February, 5th Sunday of the Year, at Holy Innocents' Church
However, because we are limited to 50 places at each mass, I invite you to register for seats for Mass. Families from the same household may sit together, but one ticket is required per person. Please enter the first and last name of each person attending Mass. Please be mindful of others and register only for the Mass you plan to attend. You will need to tell us your full name, your contact number and an email address if you have one and the Mass you want to attend. If there are no spaces left for your mass, please add your details to the waiting list. We will let you know if a space becomes free; if not we'll give you priority the following week.
We have to keep each other safe. So in accordance with the guidelines of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales,
Please don't register or come to Mass or enter the church if you or someone in your household has a temperature, a cough, or flu like symptoms.
Masks or Face coverings are Mandatory
Additional information:
We'll have four parishioners at each Mass to welcome you, show you to your place and make sure you know what's going on - you'll be well looked after.
We'll have a single entry(main door) and single exit (signposted side door) system. We'll all sanitise our hands on the way in to church and on the way out. We'll maintain social distancing of 2m at all times.
So when coming to Mass, please arrive at the front main doors of the church in good time (at least 15 minutes before the start of Mass ) to allow for each person (50 people in total) to sanitise their hands while maintaining the social distancing of 2m and being guided to your designated seat.
It will be wonderful to be at Mass and receive Holy Communion. But we will all notice some differences , including a limited congregation in set places. no mass books hymn books or congregational singing. No Prayers of the Faithful, Offertory Procession or Sign of Peace. No collection but buckets by the exit for weekly offerings for those who may not have transferred to standing order and wish to make their offerings by cash.
I am very much looking forward in joyful anticipation to celebrating Mass together.
With warmest wishes and copious blessings to you and your family,
Father Victor Vella Parish Priest
