Welcome to CoderDojo at John Harvard Library — free coding session for you
Overview
During our CoderDojo Coding sessions you and your family can choose what you want to create, go at your own pace and decide how you like to work on your own or teamed up. From total beginners to programming experts, everyone is welcome.
You’ll find out how programming is useful and relevant to your everyday life and what skills you already have that programmers use. Our volunteer mentors, who regularly use programming and STEM, will be available to lend a hand if you run into trouble.
For the first part of the session, you can try programming for the first time or work on your own project. You can build a website, create an app, or a game. This is followed by a short show-and-tell session where you can share your projects with the rest of the group.
If you’re over 18 and want to help us engage our visitors with programming, you can join our team of volunteer mentors by emailing us to register your interest at marlon.mcfarlane@southwark.gov.uk
