Welcome to Gaza Screening - Totnes

Join us for the premiere of "Welcome to Gaza" - the film of the play which was first perfomed in Totnes Civic Hall on July 11th, 2025, and which has now been on a sell-out UK tour including Edinburgh Fringe, Manchester, London and Reading. From the Edinburgh performance we recieved a five star reveiw from the British theatre guide.

The play, complied by Peter Oswald, consists of 15 short plays originally created by Gazan school children as well as interventions by Nick Bilbrough, the founder of the Hands up Project, with real audio and video messages received from children experiencing the ongoing atrocities in Gaza. It is acted by some of the original creators of the plays from Gaza. This screening in St John’s Church, Totnes will be followed by a Q and A with some of the cast.
