Welcome to Navigate, our free Gaming Club for neurodivergent teens!
Following wonderful feedback from parents, we are excited to launch Navigate, our term-time gaming club for young people aged 15-19 years old. The club aims to draw teens into the project through their shared passion for gaming, thereby enhancing their confidence levels and social interactions.
We are focusing on teens who are about to enter their final year of school, with 6th form and college on the horizon. Based on feedback from parents and carers from our other projects, we understand that this significant transition can be a source of considerable stress.
Our goal is to create a space for these teens and their parents or carers to engage with other families on topics that impact them at this critical stage. We are organizing multiple sessions for a select number of families, where you and your teen can visit to learn more about what the project offers and determine if it's the right fit for you.
Sessions will be held on 25th April, 9th May and 16th May. When booking your place, please book a Parent/Carer Ticket and a Child Ticket.
Navigate will be held every Thursday (during term-time) from 5:00 to 6:15 pm at the King Edward Community Centre, Laindon SS15 5GY.

Frequently asked questions
Navigate Youth Club supports Neurodivergent Teens with social challenges. Our numbers are restricted in order to provide a sensitive space for them. Siblings in the 15-19 age range may join if space allows with a maximum of 2 children per parent/carer.
We are providing competitive, yet cartoon style games (not heavy war games). We provide a Nintendo Switch with joy cons/controllers and the games are Super Smash Bros, Mario Karts, Minecraft, Just Dance etc.
If your child would need a specific snack/drink, then please bring that along with you. We have a kitchen area on site where you can make yourself a hot drink and connect with other parents/carers.
All the BP4P support projects operate during term-time only.
Parents/carers always stay on site to supervise their child. This also helps you to connect with other parents and our volunteer team in a relaxed non-judgemental setting.
