Three years after the murder of their son Christopher on the 26 -05 -2001
Ray and Vi Donovan MBEs,
set up a charity in memory of his name
they called the charity Chris Donovan Trust
The Chris Donovan Trust is a dynamic grassroots charity
at the pioneering work on victim awareness and Restorative Justice
in schools / college / Universities
To transform lives of young people aged 11– 19.
and to make them understand that when we do something wrong, it has a ripple effect
That not only effects the people they harmed, but how their actions can ruin their lives too
Our fully trained volunteers equip the young people to understand victim's feelings, and how restorative justice can repair the harm that's been cause by someone's bad actions
Our hope is our film will make a safer environment
for our young people and the community too.
