This is a welcome session hosted by Southampton ReproducibiliTea Journal Club.
We run sessions for anybody interested in robust research practice, reproducibility, replication, open science, and transparency.
Usually, in each session we discuss a paper related to a theme, or invite a speaker to do a seminar. In this session, we won't be discussing a specific paper, but just having a chat about things related to open science. However, if you want to read more about reproducibility before coming, try one of these papers:
- A manifesto for reproducible science (Munafò et al., 2017)
- Why most published research findings are false (Ioannidis, 2005)
Lunch (probably pizza) will be provided.
