Join us for a friendly and informative induction session that will introduce you to the tools, team, and resources powering research and innovation at LSBU.
Whether you’re new to the University or simply looking to refresh your knowledge, this session is your chance to connect with the people and platforms that can help you through your research journey—especially when exploring funding opportunities.

• Meet the RAD team – Get to know our Pre-Awards, REF, Impact & Knowledge Exchange teams and discover how we can support every step of your research funding journey. You’ll also learn how to make the most of Pure to enhance your research profile and showcase your outputs.
• Explore Research Connect – Dive into this powerful platform, set up personalised funding alerts, and uncover new opportunities.
• Navigate LSBU Connect – Find all the essential information you need, from understanding LSBU processes to accessing key institutional text for funding applications. You’ll also explore our training and events calendar to stay up to date with upcoming development opportunities.
• Impact in Research Applications: Learn how to integrate Impact into your research applications and discover the tools available to support this process.
• Impact via Knowledge Exchange - Gain awareness of the KE team and support available to help you achieve Impact through commercial application of your research outcomes for economic and societal benefit.

This session is a fantastic chance to meet colleagues, ask questions, and make the most of LSBU’s research support networks.
