About the session

These sessions are aimed at parents/guardians of Young Performers

As a new member we would love to invite you to a catch-up to connect with us in person. We’ll share top tips on how to make the most of your membership, ensure your profile is as visible as possible and give you the chance to put faces to names and say hello. It’s a great opportunity to ask us any questions you might have about the industry, watch a bite size demo of the site and also meet other members of Spotlight who have recently come on board. So, feel free to grab a cuppa and join us!

Ellie and Mel who head up the team for our younger members will start off with the demo, taking you on a virtual walk-through of a Young Performer Spotlight membership and profile and give you handy advice and guidance about it along the way. They will run through areas such as editing your profile, including adding headshots and media clips and give you an insight into how the agents and casting directors use Spotlight too.

The session will last for one hour - approximately 35 minutes for the welcome, followed by the demo and our guidance and tips, and then 25 minutes to talk through any further questions you might have. We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you soon!

We will send out the webinar link and event information ONE WEEK before the session and a reminder TWO DAYS before the session, if you do not receive the link please email performer.success@spotlight.com. You will be able to either click through the link or use information within there to join.

IMPORTANT

Before booking: You will need to provide your Spotlight profile link and your Spotlight registered email address to book this session. You can find your link by clicking on 'Link to my Profile' from the menu within your account.

These sessions are going to be held through Zoom which is online conference software. We’d ask for you to review their Terms and Privacy Policy ahead of this session as you will be asked to accept these before entering the webinar.

After booking:

Those who book a ticket will be sent details of how to take part and the link to the meeting the week before the event.

During these sessions, please turn your camera off and mute your microphone. We will be sharing our screen throughout the session.

Any questions please type them in the chat provided on Zoom, do be aware that we might not answer them straight away as we may cover the question at a later point in the presentation.

Please do not send any information in the chat that contains personal data, or information related to your Spotlight account.

If you have technical issues during the session

We have tried and tested Zoom and have not had any issues - but if you do experience any issues, please log out and then try to sign back in. If technical issues persist, do not worry we will be holding more of these sessions. So please email performer.success@spotlight.com so we can email you about the next session.
