As part of the LSE Generate Innovation festival, we are delighted to be inviting our friend Majeda to teach us how to cook a delicious dish from Syria! Join Majeda Khoury and the Generate team for an afternoon of fun and learning as she teaches you how to cook some of Syria's most delicious food!

Majeda was imprisoned by the Syrian government for helping to feed people whose homes had been bombed in the war. She managed to escape Syria and now uses food to continue her activism in exile.

Now, living in London, Majeda will be sharing her experiences and stories of what it is like to be a refugee in the UK, how she started her very own food business The Syrian Sunflower and of course, how to create a fantastic meal!
