Well Told: Longform and narrative journalism in the UK
Sat, 27 May 2017, 13:00 – Sun, 28 May 2017, 18:00 BST
Well Told is the UK's first conference about longform and narrative journalism, and will bring together some of the best journalists, authors, podcaster and documentary-makers to share their insights with other journalists and writers.
It will take place over two days, starting with a live event on the afternoon of Saturday 27 May in Marylebone celebrating some of the best in features journalism and writing. On Sunday 28 May the event moves to the London College of Communication for a full day of talks, sessions, workshops and opportunities for networking.
Already lined up to take part are Amy O'Leary of Upworthy (formerly with This American Life and the NY Times), Emma Jane Kirby, reporter with Radio 4 and author of the Optician of Lampedusa, and Paul Morley, broadcaster and author of The Age of Bowie. More details about the event are available on our website at welltold.org.
Well Told is backed by BBC News, the London College of Communication, the Frontline Club, Delayed Gratification, and Mosaic Magazine. We're being generously sponsored by Shorthand.com and by Chartbeat.
