About this event

Health • Personal health

This is a weekend of mindulfness-based wellbeing and nature connection practices for parents. It is taking place on Saturday 27th September (10.30 am) until 12 noon Sunday 28th September 2025 at Maitrya House, Lower Maescoed, Hereford HR2 0HP.

The weekend is led by parents who are trained and experienced mindfulness practitioners. They will be guiding you through each of the practices and enabling you to reconnect with the practices as well as yourself and the surrounding environment.

There will be opportunity to explore the natural surroudings during the weekend through periods of mindful walking, time over lunch and weather permitting, movement practice outside. There will also be periods of free time for journaling, rest, or exploring. There will be some periods of silence in which to just be.

It is so easy to get caught up in the fast pasced hubub of life and all that brings, so ths is a real opportunity to take a break, clear some space, be still and get a clearer perspective. A real opportunity to bring some, well needed, nurture and nourishment to the body, mind and heart.

We ask participants to bring a mat (yoga or camping) if you can, a blanket, a cushion, water bottle and mug as well as outdoor all weather gear.

We also ask participants to bring a packed lunch for the first day. We will be preparing and eating meals together.

Why not take this time to prioritise yourself for once and book a place NOW!

This weekend is funded by MindMore so is offered free to parents who have done a course with us. We will ask for donations at the end of the weekend to help support our ongoing work with parents living in the more deprived urban areas.
