Event Details

In these increasingly busy and stressful times, we need to be mindful of our own wellbeing and build resilience to withstand the pressures that life throws at us. For HR professionals, this is not only essential for ourselves, but we also have a duty of care to support the people in our organisations.

This evening’s session is designed to help participants to:

  • Explore their ability to be more resilient, agile and responsible
  • Cope better with adversity, challenges and change
  • Be better problem solvers through realistic optimism
  • Understand pressure and optimum personal stress levels
  • Develop emotional intelligence, self-awareness and empathy
  • Improve relationships and help make a positive difference.

During this interactive and thought-provoking presentation, participants will learn how to take personal responsibility for building their own individual resilience and develop a proactive wellbeing toolkit. They will also receive a personal action plan and gain access to online materials and receive a copy of The Little Book of Resilience.

The session will be held at the Park Campus of the University of Gloucestershire, and will be part of the University’s Festival, a programme in which the University provides a showcase of what they do.

Liggy Webb of The Learning Architect is considered to be a leading authority on resilience and behavioural agility and works internationally with organisations including the United Nations and The World Trade Organization.
