Wellbeing Champion Training workshop.
If you’re enthusiastic about improving mental health support and awareness in your workplace, approachable and keen to get involved, you could make a great wellbeing champion. You would be playing an important role in challenging mental health stigma and discrimination within Cardiff and Vale UHB. Importantly, you won’t be expected to become an expert on mental health!
Instead, as a wellbeing champion, you will be trained to:
• Develop your own initiatives to improve mental wellbeing in your place of work.
• Signpost colleagues to appropriate resources.
• Increase understanding of mental health and help end stigma and discrimination in your workplace.
