Wellbeing Collage Workshop

About this event
ABOUT THIS EVENT
First you choose and collect words, images and pictures that motivate, inspire and make you smile.
Then Ali, your host will guide you, showing you how you can frame your chosen images with beautiful art papers and contrasting backgrounds. You can then add your own flourishes with metallic pens and art punches.
Finally you can arrange all of these pieces on a large piece of mounting board and bring it together in a glorious colourful collage.
Don’t worry if you do not have time to finish this at the festival you can take your mood board home, add to it and put it up somewhere as a daily reminder of those things in life that make you feel like you.
TIMES
In order to get the best out this activity the session will last an hour and a half, and it is anticipated that you will be able to get a really good start on this. You will be able to take the board and any images and papers you have chosen for your project away with you.
Due to Covid restrictions we are limited to the number of people we can invite to this activity so be sure to book quickly to ensure you get a place.
SUITABILITY
This workshop is a great activity for everyone including those people who don’t believe themselves to be creative. It’s a wonderful simple way to tap into your creativity and you may just surprise yourself.
It is suitable for anyone old enough to handle scissors and there is plenty of space for two of you to work on it together. You can also encourage children to draw their own images to add to the collage as well, so it really is fun for all ages.
