About this Event

The Birmingham Wellbeing Forum

Across the Birmingham business community, frontline support for wellbeing is increasingly provided by Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions. This Forum is to “support the supporters”: it gives an opportunity for staff who are supporting colleagues in Birmingham businesses to come together for some structured input, including an refresher on some aspect of wellbeing. Zoom login details will be sent out to all attendees 24-48 hours before the event. Please share this information with the Wellbeing Champions in your business and invite them to book in for free via Eventbrite

Our Wellbeing Forum sessions include some structured input - including a refresher on some aspect of wellbeing – as well as a chance to share views on the challenges and opportunities for Wellbeing champions at this time. There is also space for co-learning, using breakout rooms, with training material or a case study to help us think more deeply together about a potential workplace situation/ scenario and the support we can offer our colleagues.

Building on our recent session on Daring to Hope , our next gathering of the Wellbeing Forum will be focussed on Leading with Courage....

We will be meeting via Zoom, with log-on details being sent out to all attendees 24-48 hours before the event.

Our experienced Co-Facilitators are both passionate about supporting wellbeing as we navigate the challenges of life at work and beyond.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR:

Juliet Smithson is Head of Operations at Lionheart, the RICS benevolent fund which supports RICS surveyors and their families.

With the many challenges faced by individuals and businesses as we respond to Covid-19, we are glad to offer this Forum free of charge at present, as part of ChaplaincyPlus’s support for the Birmingham business community. In due course, we will be moving to a paid-for basis for participation in Wellbeing Forums, as part of the package of services comprising the City Wellbeing Initiative.

The Wellbeing Forum is a part of the City Wellbeing Initiative, a space for open engagement with others across the business community which does not pre-suppose any religious affiliation.
