About this event
Looking for a way to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy the great outdoors? Our Wellbeing in Nature sessions are all about good company, fresh air, and trying your hand at something different. Whether it’s sharing a story around the campfire, getting stuck into a bit of woodcraft, foraging or simply enjoying the peace of the trees, there’s something for everyone each week.
Spending time outside has loads of benefits—it can boost your mood, ease stress, and give you a real sense of connection (to both nature and good craic with others!). Plus, it’s just a great excuse to get active, get outdoors and do something fun.
Come along and join us in the woodlands as part of the Wilder Walkmill project. No pressure, no experience needed - just bring yourself and see what it’s all about!
Where: Walkmill Community Woodlands, Moresby Parks, near Whitehaven - meet at Moresby Rugby Club car park.
When: Tuesday 16th September, 10am-12pm
What: We will wander into the woodlands and see what birds we can spot. We will then make some bird feeders which you can either take home for your own gardens or leave for the woodland birds.
No experience is necessary and we will provide all the tools and materials.
This event is free & suitable for all abilities
