About this event

The aim of this online session delivered via Zoom is for all professionals that are discussing sexual health with young people have an increased understanding and awareness of Child Exploitation

This course provides basic information on Child Exploitation, CEOP and how this could be impact a young persons sexual health.

The course is aimed at professionals in Bucks with safeguarding responsibilities, who work with young people, have discussions with young people on sexual health and/or offer sexual health services (C-Card) to young people.

Course Objectives:

  • Develop knowledge of all forms of CE
  • Have an understanding of the vulnerabilities to CE
  • Increase an awareness of hidden forms of CE
  • Understand the importance of the role of the professional
  • Gain confidence in discussing CE when discussing sexual health with young people
  • Identify the role of CEOP and reporting
  • Know where to refer for further information, support and or guidance

Buckinghamshire Organisations

The WISH training programme is free of charge and suited to professionals working within Buckinghamshire that work with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The course content is designed to increase the professionals knowledge of the topics and will allow them to offer appropriate information, advice and support to the individuals that they are working with.
