This training is online delivered via Zoom.

Course Objectives

• Expand your knowledge and language around sexuality and gender identity
• Recognise the changes in laws in the UK and around the world for the people who identify as LGBTQ+
• Discuss how to challenge language and behaviours that are LGBTQ-phobic
• Understand how to support young people who may be exploring their own sexuality and gender identity
• To gain information on local and national data, campaigns, services and initiatives

Buckinghamshire Organisations

The WISH training programme is free of charge and suited to professionals working within Buckinghamshire that work with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The course content is designed to increase the professionals knowledge of the topics and will allow them to offer appropriate information, advice and support to the individuals that they are working with.

Organisations outside Buckinghamshire
