We will explore how anxiety can affect us and its possible causes. We will also discuss practical and effective tools and techniques for managing it.
6 Oct at 1 pm – Developing Resilience
Resilience is how we adapt in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress. We will explore the benefits to becoming more resilient and what we can do to support ourselves when things get tough. It is not always easy to bounce back, but by being more aware of our emotions and understanding what our boundaries are, we can recover from setbacks, adapt to change and feel stronger.
13 Oct at 1pm – Caring for Our Minds and Bodies
We will discuss the links between physical and mental health and wellbeing and the benefits of eating healthily and being active. We will also explore simple and fun ways of keeping active which can help to improve our mental health
