Wellbeing Training for Mentors

2 sessions: 6th November and 13th November 10.30-12pm

Two dedicated sessions for GEM mentors, and those wanting to become one, focusing on how to understand the importance of wellbeing when mentoring, and supporting mentees working on health and wellbeing projects.

Session 1 will focus on boundaries and staff wellbeing. Session 2 will focus on representation and wellbeing including supporting mentors on issues including decolonising museums, curating visibility and creating places to belong.

The sessions will be chaired by Louise Campion, Project Lead for the Working Together Project, a partnership between GEM and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance. It will include a range of contributions from experts relating to different aspects of wellbeing and include case studies from Working Together museum partners. Find out more about the project here.

These sessions are free and we ask that you attend both sessions if possible. You must be a GEM mentor or willing to sign up to be a mentor after the training. Full details about GEM's One to One Mentoring programme can be found here.
