Join us for a non-residential wellbeing retreat. Held over two days in a beautiful, peaceful setting this retreat will nourish your body and soul. This retreat is offered by Gillian Booth - Acorepilates; Susie Hooper - Pause & Breathe and Gill McKinna - Eden Lomi Lomi Massage.

Over the two days both Mindfulness and Pilates practices will be offered. These will be suitable for both beginners and those with some experience. There is also the additional option of having a Lomi Lomi Massage.

A variety of Mindfulness practices will be offered - the central themes focusing on being in tune with the body and breath and so learning to appreciate the current moment, no matter what it offers. So much of our lives are spent dwelling on the past, or planning ahead - this is our time to appreciate the here and now.

There is no better way to start focusing on your body’s needs than with Pilates. This whole body conditioning programme focuses on strengthening, lengthening and toning the body. Classes over the weekend will aim to work on breathing techniques, spinal articulation, joint mobility, core strength, stretching and relaxation. All classes will be suitable for beginners and those at intermediate level. During the weekend there will be an opportunity to experiment with small Pilates equipment, go deeper into movement and have some fun!
This is an exciting opportunity for you to connect with your body and awaken the energy within.

A Lomi Lomi Massage is a traditional Hawaiian massage aimed at restoring balance within the body, mind and spirit, and so perfectly complements both Pilates and Mindfulness. Themes over the weekend will centre on balance and wellness.

During the two days there will be the option to attend both mindfulness and pilates sessions. We hope to be able to have a mindful walk on at least one day, as the surroundings of the Barn are truly beautiful. We also hope to offer individual sessions / discussions about both Pilates and Mindfulness.

Each day wll run from 10am-4pm. Lunch is provided. There are yoga mats, meditation cusions and blankets provided. However, you may wish to bring your own along for your own comfort. Within the Barn we remove our shoes, so you may wish to bring thick socks or slippers. Please wear clothing that is comfortable enough to bend and stretch in.

The price for the 2 days is £130 without the massage, or £150 with this. Unfortunately there won't be enough time for everyone to have a massage, so please do get in early to book this. There is a lower price for concessions - this is for people in receipt of their pension and students only - please only book this rate if you have valid identification to prove this. We also have the option of booking for a single day - just select the Saturday or Sunday ticket accordingly.
