Event description
Remote working has changed the office forever. We discuss the wellbeing implications with Nationwide's Jane Hanson and X+Why's Rupert Dean.

About this Event

For the April Wellbeing Works, Zoe and Jim have two great guests at the forefront of the remote working revolution. Jane Hanson is Chief People Officer at Nationwide, and Rupert Dean is CEO of X+Why.

Nationwide has emerged as a leading proponent of “work anywhere”. We’ll hear how Nationwide’s employees are happier, and appreciate the more democratic and inclusive nature of remote work.

Drill a little deeper, and the impact on wellbeing has not been uniform across organisations. Employers need to be far more nuanced than in the past, and find ways to be more tailored in their wellbeing programmes.

Rupert Dean is the CEO of X+Why, who aims to change the way the world works for good including the central role of well-being in the modern office.

We’ll explore issues such as:

  • Is it best to experiment or give employees clarity on their future?
  • How does an employer monitor wellbeing in a hybrid environment?
  • Do employees want “an” office or “the” office?
  • What does tailored wellbeing look like for hybrid working models?
  • What does the next generation of talent want from their employer?

We’ll start promptly at 8.30am, look forward to seeing you then.
