Event description
"Movement and the power of eating a sustainable diet." Hosted by Katie Spong, Wellbeing Coach and Louise Symington Registered Dietitian

About this Event

Welcome to the Summer Series of Wellbeing Workshops.

This is the 3rd and final in the summer series! To kick start the morning Katie, Brighton's Wellbeing Coach, will take you through a flowing pilates class to stretch, strengthen and energise. Katie will then jump into an intro into 'what is Wellbeing'? A term bounded around at the moment, but do we understand it and how do we get it? The emphasis this month will be on food, good nutrition and eating to nourish.

Registered Dietitian Louise Symington who specialises in food sustainability will then lead an open talk into what it is to eat a sustainable diet, is a vegan diet the healthiest way to eat, and the cost to the planet.

This is about good nutrition and understanding the human health implications as well as the effect for the planet. It will be fun and informal yet informative and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. In fact i'll be asking for your questions in advance!

Whether this is your first workshop or if you've attended all 3 you are armed with information. There will be plenty of time to meet other like minded individuals, ask questions and join this community.

As ever, all the events that Katie Spong runs are fun and interactive and packed full of freebies from some great local partners providing gifts, all to be revealed!

Herbal teas will provide the refreshment for the morning but look out for the edible goodies.

You will leave feeling energised, inspired and with a goodie bag in your hand...

There are 3 WORKSHOPS in the SERIES. You can book just this one or all THREE! Other dates are SAT June 22nd with Dr Jenna Macciochi, exploring the science of being well; SAT July 13th with Holistic Health Coach and Essential oils educator Natalie Heath, and SAT September 21st with Louise Symington, Registered dietitian looking at women's weight management, health and wellbeing.

Katie Spong is a Personal Trainer, Pilates teacher and Wellbeing Coach who has recently moved to Brighton from London. Her philosophy is simple - Train For Life. Life is for living, so let's move well, nourish our bodies and grow our minds. She's on a mission to spread the message and works with women to live their best lives.
