The International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution 36/37, the General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to “commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples.”
MOMM is thrilled to be part of the Peace Coalition network of Peace One Dayand a global partner of Pace e Bene’s Campaign Nonviolence. In collaboration with The HeartMath Institute, we will once again be joining communities across the world in mass meditation.

Our designated charity for the Autumn Wellness Day is The Meath Epilepsy Charity. We will be having an art exhibiton at Wellness Day with all the art produced for the day under the hashtag #aHappyHealthyLife
The Meath Epilepsy Charity is based in Godalming, Surrey and has been part of the community for over 125 years. The charity aims to enhance the lives of 80 residential adults plus external clients by ensuring that they receive the support, expert care and encouragement required to build confidence, acquire new skills and maximise independence in their daily lives.
The Meath are an extremely proactive charity and work hard to fundraise and raise awareness. However, your support can make a genuinely positive difference to the people the Meath supports. It costs 6.3million per year to keep the Meath operational or £17k per day and only £5.5m is covered through care packages.
The Meath believes that having severe Epilepsy and associated disabilities should not mean being treated differently and they enable the people they support to live happy, fulfilled and more independent lives and to enjoy the opportunities that their peers enjoy. The Meath recognises ability not disability and celebrates all achievement.
