A perfect escape from the office at the end of a busy week! Come and join us on our monthly Wellness Walk, as visit these woods in eastern Leeds that are steeped in Roman history.
Get away from your desk, out of the office and give yourself some time and space for you, away from all the distractions, all while getting the steps in and chatting with like-minded professionals and business owners.
Exercise your mind
Our monthly Wellness Walk runs every second Friday of the month, and offers a great opportunity to get outdoors and network with other local business owners and professionals, in stunning locations and with a relaxed atmosphere.
If you want to connect with other real people for business and work, but normal stand-in-a-room-and-deliver-your-pitch-networking doesn't do it for you, this netwalking event is where you need to be.
The Walk
This is a quiet and peaceful route in eastern Leeds through woods and the Roman quarry workings of Pompocali.
We will meet, ready to walk, at 1230 at the New Inn car park in Scarcroft. We'll head out of the village and skirt the Hetchell Wood nature reserve, before heading out along the Roman Road to Bramham Woods.
If weather and time permits, we'll add a small extra loop around the pond, before returning via the fascinating Roman quarry workings at Pompocali, and returning to the New Inn, where we will get the drinks in for everyone!
This event will be guided by Ant at the Mountain Boardroom.
